    The 33° is conferred annually, at the meeting of the Supreme Council, upon a select number of 32 ° Scottish Rite Masons who have contributed outstanding service to Freemasonry or Scottish Rite or who have exemplified, in their daily lives, the true meaning of the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of God. A recipient must be at least 33 years of age and may not apply for the degree.


  Ill. Bro. Wallace was born April 24, 1932, Mountain Grove, Mo. Attended schools in Fowler, Mo., Mountain Grove, Mo., Waynesville, Mo. and Lebanon, Mo. Attended College at Montgomery, Ala., Murray State, Okla.and Drury, Springfield, Mo. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1952 served 4 years with honorable discharge.

    Married present wife, Barbara La Quey Sept. 1957. Have 2 children Jo Etta and Charles Edward. Four grandchildren, Bianca and Craigtin Miller, Wesley and Whitney Willard.

    Raised a Master Mason belong to Laclede Lodge #83, Lebanon, Mo in 1959. Joined the York Rite in 1964 as a member of the Governor Hearnes Class in Jefferson City. Initiated a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason 1975. Invested with rank and decoration of Knight Commander Court of Honor 1983. Coronated Inspector General Honorary 33rd degree in 1993. Appointed Personal Representative SGIG Valley of Joplin in 1994. Appointed Personal Representative to the SGIG of the Orient of Mo., 1996.

    Retired as President/CEO of Missouri Propane Gas Association and registered lobbyist in Missouri and Washington, D.C.. Past President of the Missouri Society of Association Executives, Past President Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Past Rajah Lebanon Shrine Club, Active member of the United Methodist Church, DeMolay Dad in Lebanon, Mo.
