With this said, please note that Operation AC is a non-profit charity which operates off of your donations. For every $1 you donate, please note that 93% of that dollar goes directly to the troops. The rest of it goes to the US Postal Service for boxes and supplies to pack and ship and to pay Michael who works for us to pack and ship 5 days a week, all year long. We own the truck so it is gas in that also. So we don't use any fancy marketing people, we keep overhead very low. We do much of the work ourselves and with the great many of volunteers who keep us going.
Please consider giving to us, we put all of your dollars together in 1 pot and we spend that money on our troops, where it belongs. If you are interested in the numbers, there is a section on our website which shows the breakdown of what we spend the donations on. Our IRS 990 is public record and can be found on many of the websites which provide that service. Our Tax ID is 02-0699201. I do not pay guidestar.org as I think that is silly to have them "rate& us. I assure you there are no fat salaries around here and we keep our noses to the grindstone appropriately. I am proud of what we have been able to do thanks to all of you who give. We do what we do together, there is no &I& in Team.

Guide Dogs for the Blind is a nonprofit, charitable organization with a mission to provide Guide Dogs and training in their use to visually impaired people throughout the United States and Canada.
